A FULL ONE DAY CLASS 5-6 HOURS
This class is perfect for a raw beginner or someone who has some overlocker knowledge. My aim is to give students a greater understanding of their overlocker that allows them to continue using it at home confidently. The kit provided covers a comprehensive 24-page workbook and all fabrics required for the day.
The course covers; four thread overlocking, understanding tensions, three thread overlocking, rolled hem, understanding differential feed, techniques for better results when stitching a circle, inside corners, outside corners, working with difficult fabrics and so many applications for rolled hem!
Course requirements: Four thread overlocker in good working order, Foot control and electrical leads, instruction manual, rolled hem plate if required to change to from a rolled hem (only older model machines), Accessories including screwdrivers to change needles, spare needles in the correct system for your machine, 4 Polyester threads (I recommend 4 different colours to match the tension colours on your machine), scissors, pen. Workbook and all fabrics supplied in kit.
